Product Care

We take great care in sourcing our raw materials and assembling our Sketchbooks, Notebooks and Paper Goods. We forgo old fashioned materials and reject production shortcuts. Here's a simple guide on how to take the best care for your Pith® products to prolong their lifespan.

Sketchbooks, Notebooks and Planners:

As you may have noticed, we use an open bind and unfinished board on our books. We do this for several reasons, from maximising lay-flat on every page to avoiding leather and other harmful materials, including animal glue, which is most commonly used to wrap materials on hardback books.

As a result, our books lack the usual layer of protection. However, this does not mean the quality is any less. We like to show you our binding, as we have high standards for perfection.

Take extra care when packing your Pith® books in your bag, and avoid exposure to moisture whenever possible.

Tearing pages out is not recommended. Wear your mistakes with pride. If you need to remove a page, carefully use a scalpel or a pair of scissors.

Pads

As much as our pads are super flexible and fun to play with, they have been designed with tear-off in mind. Too much rough play will cause the backboard and sheets to come loose.
