We designed our dot grid to be as subtle as possible. Providing a guide to your technical drawing and writing without dominating your eye. The dots are 0.5 pt, spaced 5 mm apart, and printed in 100% black ink.

Grid

The 2 mm, 10 mm grid layout features 0.1 pt vertical and horizontal lines every 2 mm with a bolder 0.3 pt line every 10 mm. Each 10 mm grid line extends beyond the grid edge, enhancing visibility. The grid bleeds off the top and side of each page, leaving a gutter down the spine of each spread and along the bottom of each page.

Inspired by Josef Müller-Brockmann’s Grid Systems in Graphic Design, the layout grid features a 4-column, 8-row grid with 5 mm gutters. Grid systems help designers organise graphic elements across a variety of editorial projects.

Our manuscript notebook features 10 staves per page with 3-mm-spaced lines. It is ideal for those learning the craft of writing music.

Split Grid

Split Grid

The Split Grid page layout was designed for iconography and typography. Utilising 6 separate 11 x 11 grids on each page in the Yuzu Notebook and 12 11 x 11 grids in the Pomelo Notebook. Each cell measures 5 mm. 0.2 pt lines printed in 100% black ink.

The Pith Drawing Calendar features 12 loose sheets of our 200 gsm sketching paper printed with a simple table overview of each month of the year. The top half of each sheet is blank for you to draw, paint, collage, write, mount photographs or whatever your imagination can conjure.

Available dated for 2026 or undated to start any time of the year.

Each sheet is drilled in the top centre for hanging and packaged between two 1.5 mm recycled grey boards with a natural rubber band.

All our Sketchbook and Notebook sizes have been developed to maximise creative surface area while minimising production waste. Our exposed lay-flat binding offers a workable surface across the binding, utilising the full double-page spread.

Really enjoying painting my own calender with gouache! The paper holds a lot of water and layers of paint well, I also had an issue where January was missing and the pith team very quickly sent me a new calender. Really impressed and would recommend ☺️
