Cara Cara Sketchbook

These sketchbooks are excellent, I use pencils and light watercolours , I only buy these now !

Bought this for my daughter for a birthday gift as she had requested it as a present, I am sure she will be very happy

Really loved my new (first) Pith sketchbook. Has a really nice feel. Beautiful orange cover and the paper wrapping (which I will use to separate any pages where I use charcoal) and personal note was lovely touch.

Given 4 stars as only just started using, but so far loving the quality. Have used with watercolour and the paper does not buckle as much as last sketchbook due to being 140gsm. Price point for number of pages was key factor also.

Absolutely love Pith sketchbooks, my favourite. I have many and keep coming back to them. Ordering is easy and they are packed and sent out with such care. x

Loving this sketchbook. I'm using it for acrylic Paint markers and it's holding up brilliantly, no bleed at all.

My fave sketchbook, I have it in my bag all the time.

Devoted. Right sizes for purpose. Portable, light, lays flat and yet is sturdy. Paper strong yet light, takes most media but care needs to be taken with watercolour.
However, ideal for sketching with pencil or pen

I love my pink book. I’m using it for both drawing and poetry.

These sketchbooks are so beautiful! I gifted these to my mother for Christmas and she was so excited to receive them, delighted by the personal details like the different signatures of who finished the book.

I’d also like to personally thank Liam for helping assist me in getting my order in time due to an issue with my delivery address. He was very kind and accommodating, offering alternatives which I greatly appreciated.

The only downside I can think of of the 2 beautiful sketchbooks I ordered, is that they are sooo beautiful that so far I have been too scared to start using them.
The colours are true to what they look like on the site and they come carefully wrapped which makes you feel like Xmas has come early. The fact that the initials of the person who did the finishing touches are on the wrapper is the ultimate proof of all the care and attention that is given to these lovely books.
One ‘warning’ for continental buyers: I received an extra bill of €10 from the Dutch Post: income tax (because of Brexit). It was worth every penny, but it would’ve been nice to have known this in advance.

The paper in this sketchbook holds up well to wet and dry media. I have used pencil crayon, gouache, ink and neocolor IIs all to good effect.

The Cara Cara lies flat which is great for double page spreads.

Love the sketchbook, had no idea they were made to order until I ordered, it only took 3 days to turn up. Good quality paper for sketching in graphite and fits in my leather sketch pad so all good.

Perfect sketchbook, fits in any of my bags but big enough for drawing, opens flat, perfect thick paper. I do not use any others any more :)

I love this thing - I'm a customer for life. I don't think it can be better - I can't think of anything I'd like to improve.

Fantastic paper! I use this sketch book for mixed media with a base in water colours, it takes water well.

Very nice surface. Tried watercolour but it isn’t quite heavy enough. Worked well with watercolour pencils though.

Love them. Am writing a book series by hand, stops me endlessly editing when I type and the ideas are just flowing, it’s such a pleasure to write in these notebooks. Red for a prequel, blue for the main book series. If I get famous, you will too..

As I've said in previous reviews I just rate these sketchbooks 10 stars, forget your 5 stars. Won't be using any other companies now. They suit my pen and coloured pencil work like a dream. Can't thank you enough.

Love it. Really, really nice paper for sketching on and the quality is fantastic. Nicest sketchbook I've ever had. Will definitely be back for many more.

My first Pith sketchbook and it definitely won't be my last one. The paper has a light texture which works absolutely good for my mixed media projects (gouache, watercolor, markers, color pencils) Layering👌🏼

Literally my favourite sketchbook, I couldn’t recommend this enough

This is my first purchase from Pith I’ve seen so many other artists use them. I am so pleased that I took the plunge and brought a sketch book and note book. I haven’t used the sketch book yet as I’m taking it away on holiday with me. I cannot wait to start it! The paper pack is also so lovely, and the notebook is just the right size to jot down ideas and sketch.

I'm absolutely loving my pith sketchbooks. I've found them to be the perfect sketchbooks for my needs. I like to use a variety of mediums and the sketchbooks can handle them all. I also love the new Cara Cara size.
