Lumia Sketchbook

I love my new sketchbook. The paper quality and weights is perfect for my needs (B&W fineliners and alcohol based ink markers) I've only filled one page so far but the hardcover is really robust which is good for me as it will be in and out of my bags lots.

Robust, dexterously sewn and reliable. A constant companion on any ramble.

I love Pith sketchbooks and have several in different sizes. I’ve used them for coloured pencil, drawing oil sticks, pen and ink and gouache. The paper holds up very well to all - I wouldn’t use it for watercolour.
I love the open binding and the fact that they lay completely flat when open, this allows me to work across both pages easily.

Beautiful, packaged so thoughtfully, really lovely attention to detail and the quality of the sketchbook paper is gorgeous, a great texture and the lilac is true to the photo's. really excited to get drawing again.

I love this paper for outdoor sketching using mixed media including Neocolour 2 crayons, graphite, water-soluble pens etc. It holds up v well and is not too textured which i prefer. Live the way it lies flat and you can work right across the 2 pages. And there’s no metal spiral binding which can sometimes come apart. All great,

I’m obsessed with the sketchbooks. I’ve used every size available and I have more than one favourite. The Lumis is portable, easy to use, not overly intimidating because the size of the page is not overwhelming. Lays completely flat. Has taken every medium I’ve used on it (ink, gouache, watercolour, glue, charcoal, pencils etc) with no bleed through. These sketchbooks are essential to my life and I’m so excited to start a new one!

Such a beautiful treasure! I saw these books being used by a visiting artist. He had filled them with beautiful coloured sketches he had done while out and about on his cycle rides.
I have never seen a sketch book so perfect. I just had to have one and chose the lilac/lavender shade.
I love how the pages open flat so that you can do a complete landscape.
I want this beautiful book to hold a special selection of my work.
I am a colour pencil artist and love to do portraits, so think I will mainly use it for people watching .
If anyone is stuck for a gift for an artist friend, this is the perfect book for them, they will love it!

After a number of years using Moleskine and Leuchtturm sketchbooks, I am so pleased to be able to buy British - and from the beautiful historic town of Berwick upon Tweed no less! I have not been disappointed - it’s a very elegant and well-crafted product and, importantly, the pages lay flat. I’m looking forward to buying my next one.

Absolutely the best sketchbook I've used - perhaps even 'iconic'. The design allows for full opening, the paper is wonderful for sketching and light watercolour and it's light enough to take out and about easily. Love that I can add a design to the front and back covers too if the mood takes me. Add in that this is a UK company and I'm sold.

Having bought the Lumia sketch book, I was so impresses with it I've ordered another size, and have just ordered two more. I use graphite,Pen,ink and coloured pencils for my artwork. Best sketchbooks I've ever used and being in my 70s I've tried a lot. I had ended up with either Strathmore or Moleskine. Pith sketchbooks are far superior to either, and the lay flat. How I longed for a lay flat sketchbook. The price point is so good too and made in the UK. I will never buy a Moleskine again. I just love these sketchbooks.

Beautiful colour and the crafting is second to none. It feels genuinely luxurious and the quality is unmatched for the price. It was also packaged beautifully and there were little thoughtful touches like the stickers and handwritten postcard which I really appreciated. Would only order from here in future!

Loving this size - I find the OroBlanco a little bit too big (and daunting), this gives me enough room to breathe without getting anxious.

Love the quality of the paper, the cover I can write on and the Coptic binding which allows the book to lie flat when opened. Basically, this is sketchbook nirvana!

This one is for my future drawings with pencil and water colour. The size is quite nice, not too big, not too small, and with the hard cover and flat open, it’s perfect for me ! 🤗

The perfect weight of paper for all mediums. The only thing I fear is messing them up with poor drawings!

Excellent that it lies flat, has robust boards and you can remove sheets easily. Paper thickness a reasonable compromise: you have to be careful not to use too much water.

Beautiful design, great paper quality!

Very nice sketchbook. Works well with a fine liner and ink generally. Haven't tried water colour or alcohol based markers. Moderately smooth texture and not a lot of tooth. Backing board is strong and quite adequate to maintain a firm surface when drawing. Opens very flat which is very much a positive for working across the pages. Overall very satisfied.

I absolutely LOVE the lumia sketchbook! After using two of the oroblanco sketchbooks, I was really excited to try a different one to see if the excellent quality was reflected in the other sizes. The lumia did not disappoint! I really like to layer my materials and this sketchbook does an amazing job at maintaining its paper quality. The vibrancy and texture of my materials in this sketchbook is always exceptional. I will forever be purchasing my sketchbooks from Pith!

From the moment of opening up the parcel you could tell how much attention and pride has gone into making the sketchbooks. From the way they are wrapped, the personal postcard through to the beautiful sketch books...
I have bought these for some urban designer colleagues who will love them.
As a fellow independent business its great to see someone creating an experience from the unwrapping, opening up the sketchbook to its use. Wonderful. Keep doing what you're doing :)

I love love LOVE the new Lumia size. I'm obsessed with ALL of the Pith range, but the new Lumia might just be my new favourite. I've tried A LOT of sketchbooks over the years, and Pith continue to remain my favourite. Keep on being awesome! You're brilliant

Love these sketchbooks. The paper is gorgeous with just enough texture to make things interesting, but smooth enough to lay down lots of materials!
