Tangelo Sketchbook

I love how these books open flat as I am an artist and it means I can do landscapes easily. Only thing I don’t like is the paper. I use watercolour and it’s too thin for my work which will mean the paper will wrinkle.
Do you have a watercolour pad please?
I bought two. Happy to keep one as I Can find a use for it but am I too late to return the other please?

Hi Andrew and Liam, I’ve tried every sketchbook on the market and am totally converted to your Pith sketchbooks after being gifted one by an artist friend. I work in Palomino Blackwing pencil, Sennelier Walnut ink, Tombow brush pens and Winsor & Newton watercolours. The paper accepts all these media beautifully and is of just the right weight and opacity to avoid bleed-through or image-shadows. I work double-spread with very fluid washes - the book lays flat on every page with minimal leakage into the spine. My sketchbook comes with me on all our travels on land and sea and our four year old granddaughter just took one to New Zealand and filled it with wonderful images on her holiday. These images from our recent travels in Raja Ampat.

Truly amazing quality and I love it even though I'm not an artist, the form factor makes it great for timelines and charts that otherwise would be awkward

I absolutely love Pith Notebooks. They are my go-to space for creative freedom — watercolor, gouache, and collage all work beautifully side by side. The paper feels sturdy and high-quality, handling wet media with ease without excessive warping or bleed through.

I had an idea. Hike the Northumberland Coastal Path from its start in Cresswell and camp along the way. Recorded the whole adventure in my new Pith sketchbook and maybe even call in with it to show the folks at PithHQ what we’ve been up to.
I’m not a pro artist I’m an enthusiastic urban sketcher, I’ll be doing some rapid pen work and throwing a wash or two on top.
I’d love the opportunity to call in and say hi.

Beautiful. Quality and finish is excellent.
More guidance would have been useful for paper thickness and ink bleed.

Ooohhh I'm so looking forward to filling these pages - the landscape format is going to force me out of my comfort zone. Superb quality as always and speedy delivery!

I have used other sketchbooks but keep coming back to these. And these are what I will stick with for as long as you make them. Other things seem as good on the face of it - but they're just not.

Your sketch books are just great. I dropped you an email separately to say so before now. They look fantastic, paper quality is excellent and they are UK made. Keep at it - ill be back for more.

Probably the best sketchbook on the market currently. Lay flat design, quality of paper and fantastic packaging. Nothing to fault - excellent.

Not used them yet, waiting for the better weather and as I live near Cannock Chase forest, Chasewater and several canals, there's plenty of opportunity for Plein air works. I have just finished two 14 week art sessions since retirement last year.
I worked for Architectural practices and did the colour presentations for clients, amongst many other jobs. I haven't done any of my own art since my twenties and I am slowly getting back to speed, and will use your pads to gather sketches for larger works.

Hello, the sketchbook arrived beautifully packaged. I bought it as a gift for a friend that has recently taken to using watercolour. Hopefully, having such a lovely sketchbook will encourage her. I'll let you know how it goes!

I discovered the Pith sketchbooks last year, and I'm delighted because the pages can be opened completely, the paper quality is excellent for mixed media arts, and the colors are amazing. I even carry them as accessories sometimes :)) The packaging details were also excellent.

Haven't used this longer format before but I am loving it so much more than expected :) Would love to be able to get the Yuzu in thicker paper. Pith is the best!!

love how the product is bound so that you can lay pages flat, really useful. paper is really good for drawing onto as well. One small thing is that the cover is not hugely durable. The colours though are stunning!

I love this sketchbook, it's so well made and it's portable size makes it great for location sketching, it holds media really well so I can layer up my materials without worrying it will bleed through the other side of the page.
